Don’t teach your daughter to be silent

Teach her to stand against violence

Don’t teach her to be tolerant

Teach her to stand against intolerance

Don’t teach her to be polite

Just because she is a girl

Don’t take her light

Teach her to fight

Then why do they see me different

There are eyes on me

Where ever I go

They stare me

From head to toe

They tear me

They scare me

Don't know whom to trust

Where people are in lust

Don't know where to feel safe

When even fetus is unsafe

They say we all are equal

Then why do they treat me different
